Society is the combination of people. They can be people living in a rural area; any region; a town or a city. However, while the people living in the entire country are collectively called as the nationals, those who are living in small groups are called as society. In fact, corporate social responsibility is the recently coined term. In regard to the former it can be seen that; some corporate engaged in manufacture of leather goods are found to be discarding the leather wastes and chemicals into the canals, rivers and empty lands knowing well that those wastes are harmful to the health of the people; hospitals and other medical service professionals leaving the medical wastes into the streets, roads and lands which are responsible for polluting the air and atmosphere thereby hampering the health of the society and the list can drawn with more defaulters in this respect. Socially responsible companies will definitely avoid those things from the list of their activities. In respect of the companies second cited, they are voluntarily coming forward in providing educational, medical, transportation and other infrastructure facilities to the people living in their regions knowing well that society's cooperation is indispensable for the growth of the company.
